SRINAGAR : In wake of students protests against the alleged highhandedness of security forces which spread across valley, colleges remained closed for the third consecutive day as precautionary measure in Kashmir.
Pertinently Divisional Commissioner office had issued an order to suspend class work in college for today in view of the recent agitation by the students
In view of the order Kashmir University, all colleges and higher secondary schools were closed today as per the order till April 21.
Worth to mention that scores of students were injured in the alleged action of security forces, including army, against students at Pulwama on the weekend, Monday’s clashes also left several dozen students injured. Five police personnel were also injured.
