Budgam March 28: Budgam Police on Sunday launched a special drive against drivers found driving vehicles without proper documents especially the vehicle which are outside UT JK registration and are operating in Budgam without proper transfer of the vehicle to the actual user.

According to news agency KDC, during the drive Budgam Police have seized 40 vehicles in the last two days which are having registration outside UT J&K and no proper transfer papers.

Meanwhile ARTO Budgam had issued a public notice vide letter No. ARTO/BUD/20-21/3187-90 Dated 26/03/2012 for re-registration of such vehicles wherein ARTO Budgam has given 15 days time to complete process.

Budgam Police have appealed to the general public of the district to follow the public notice by ARTO Budgam and complete re-registration process at an earliest. (KDC)
