BARAMULLA POLICE HELD THREE GAMBLERS IN PATTAN

Baramulla Police today received a reliable information regarding presence of Gamblers at upper area of Poshwani jurisdiction of Police Station Pattan, reacting on the information, Police Party of Police Station Pattan rushed towards the spot and succeeded in arresting three Gamblers namely 1) Showkat Ah Gojree S/O Ab Satar Gojree R/O Pattan, 2) Mehraj ud Din Ganai S/O Wali Mohd Ganai R/O Jamia Mohalla Pattan & 3) Javaid Ah Sofi S/O Gh Mohd Sofi R/O Pattan on spot. Playing cards alongwith staking money of 5750 INR were also recovered from them. Case under sections of 13 Gambling Act registered against them in police station Pattan and investigation set into motion.
