Bandipora 04 May -2021: In view of surge in COVID-19 cases Bandipora police booked two shopkeepers and seized 05 vehicles for violating COVID-19 lockdown orders / guidelines of govt.
Police team of police station Bandipora led by SHO PS Bandipora on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad -IAS and SSP Bandipora Shri Mohammad Zahid -JKPS booked 02 shopkeepers and seized 05 vehicles who were violating the govt orders/SOPs, besides also enhanced the efforts to implement the Covid-19 guidelines/SOPs/restrictions strictly in the district.
The special drive against the violators of Covid-19 guidelines/rules will be continued throughout the district to ensure that people adhere to SOPs/ guidelines envisaged by government to curb COVID-19 pandemic.
Community members are once again requested to cooperate with the Police and district administration in containing the spread of Coronavirus by following the SOPs/guidelines/protocols for the safety of the people.
