‘Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil calls for powerful protest on Friday
Kargil, Mar 15: Anjuman Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh has appealed Government of India to arrest lunatic Waseem Rizvi without any delay even it made a fervent appeal to the Supreme Court of India to reject the petition filed by criminal and cheater Rizvi against the Holy Quran.
While addressing a press conference in Kargil, President Anjuman Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh, Sheikh Nazir Mehdi said that the former chairman of UP Shia Waqf Board, Waseem Rizvi is not a Shia but simply an opportunist, a lunatic against whom multiple criminal and cheating cases stand registered.
Mehdi threw light on the beauty and uniqueness of holy Quran quoting a verse from Surat Al-Hijr saying: “Indeed, it is We who sent down the Quran and indeed, We will be its guardian.” He said there is no doubt in this Holy Book and Allah has taken the responsibility to guard it.
Sheikh Nazir Mehdi said Rizvi is a criminal against whom the Central Bureau of Investigation is probing his illegal sale, purchase and transfer of Waqf properties in Prayagraj and Kanpur districts. “The agency has also registered two FIRs against Wasim Rizvi.”
He appealed people to stage a forceful protest across Ladakh on Friday after prayers. “Don’t remain silent, register your protest against lunatic Rizvi and show your love for this Holy book,” he said.
Mehdi demanded the dismissal of Waseem Rizvi’s petition and his arrest.
He said that all the Shias held the belief that the Quran, which was revealed to Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), was authentic till today and would remain so till the Day of Judgment. (KNT)
