AAC expresses condolence with Farooq Ahmad Sodagar

Srinagar): Awami Action Committee (AAC) Monday expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of the mother-in-law of its senior youth activist Farooq Ahmad Sodagar.

The deceased was the wife of Khwaja Ghulam Rasool Sofi of Brari Pora, Nawakadal, Srinagar.

In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), AAC on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family members, especially Khwaja Ghulam Rasool Sofi and Farooq Ahmad Sodagar.

It also prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

As per family sources, the congregational Fateha prayers for the deceased will be offered on 17 May 2022 at their ancestral graveyard.

Meanwhile, the AAC also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of its active member and well-wisher of the Mirwaiz Family, Khwaja Ghulam Muhammad Khan of Sarai Bala, Srinagar.

The organisation paid tributes to the deceased and prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to him. It expressed condolence with the bereaved family members and prayed for their patience at this hour of grief—(KNO)
