Srinagar, May 08 : Laying emphasis over ensuring required facilities to people, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir Saturday urged the government to ensure adequate supply of essentials, electricity and other required facilities to people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr.
In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Mir said that under the current circumstances, people need to be ensured supply of essentials without facing any kind of difficulty, as that, they are already confronted with disturbing situation that have arisen due to the spread of pandemic across J&K, besides the lockdown imposed have added more to their miseries.
“I would appeal the people to be extra cautious, adhere to Covid SOPs and not to venture out unless it is necessary to ensure their and their families safety,” Mir added.
JKPCC President also urged the Govt to ensure adequate supply of electricity to people, besides ensuring availability of medicines in hospitals to face the current medical emergencies—(KNO)
