Couple injured after car falls from Bridge in Rafiabad

Baramulla, Sep 26, : A husband and wife were injured after the car they were travelling in fell from Nadihal Bridge in the Rafiabad area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.The accident occurred when an Ignis car bearing registration number JK09D-9256, travelling from Kupwara towards Baramulla, fell from the bridge.Both occupants sustained injuries in the accident.Soon after the incident, local people, personnel of 32 Rashtriya Rifles, BSF and Police reached the spot and launched a joint rescue operation, retrieving the injured couple from the vehicle.The injured were subsequently shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla for medical treatment.
