Man Injured In Bear Attack In Kokernag

Anantnag, Sep 17 : A man was injured in a bear attack in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday.Officials told GNS that a bear attacked a person in Charward area of Luhor Gadool in Kokernag.The injured has been identified as Fayaz Ahmed Khan, son of Abdul Rehman Khan, resident of Luhor Gadool.He was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Kokernag for medical treatment, they said.This is the second bear-related incident reported from Luhor Gadool in the last few hours, raising concern among locals.(GNS)
