4 Injured As Scorpio Meets Accident In Mendhar Poonch

Poonch, Sep 14 : Four persons were injured after a Scorpio met with an accident in Mendhar area of Poonch district on Monday evening.Officials told GNS that at about 1725 hours today, a Scorpio bearing registration number JK-02DH-9659, driven by Gurvinder Singh from Jammu, met with an accident at Uchhad near BSF Camp while on way from Poonch to Mendhar.The injured have been identified as driver Gurvinder Singh, Kulvinder Singh, Pinder Kour and Harmit Kour — all residents of Dara Dullian, Poonch.Jawans of 182 Battalion of BSF immediately swung into action and rescued the injured to Battalion Hospital for treatment.Locals appreciated the prompt role of BSF in the rescue operation.(GNS)
