“Our position so far is that we will not join Council of Ministers until restoration of statehood”
Srinagar, Aug 31 : All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary in-charge for Jammu & Kashmir, Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain, on Monday said that the Congress has taken a stand that it will not join the cabinet until the restoration of statehood. He, however, added that decision on any alteration in the position rests with the party high command.Speaking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) over phone, Dr. Hussain said that the high command will take decision on the matter.“High command will take a decision,” he said when asked if the party would join the government.He reiterated that the party’s position is not to join the cabinet until statehood is restored. “Any alteration in that has to be decided by the party high command,” he added—(KNO)
