Five terror associates arrested in Kulgam, four pistols, grenades recovered

Kulgam, Aug 26 : Five terror associates were arrested and a cache of arms and ammunition recovered during a joint cordon and search operation in the Bugam Orchard area of Kulgam district on Wednesday, officials said. A senior official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the operation was conducted jointly by Kulgam Police, 9 Rashtriya Rifles and 18 Battalion CRPF.During the operation, four 9mm pistols, four magazines, 22 rounds of ammunition and two hand grenades were recovered, officials said—(KNO)Further investigation into the matter is underway
