144th BN CRPF Organizes a Grand TirangaYatra at Dal Lake under the “HarGharTirangaAbhiyan”

SRINAGAR: On the occasion of Independence Day, with the objective of further strengthening the spirit of patriotism, national unity and dedication towards the nation, the 144th BN CRPF organized a grand Tiranga Yatra at Dal Lake under the “Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan.”

              The programme was graced by Smt. Madhu Bala, Commandant, 144th BN CRPF as the Chief Guest. She was warmly welcomed upon her arrival. On the occasion, Sh. Vikrant Singh   2-I/C, Sh. Anjani Kumar Deputy Commandant, along with other officers and personnel of the CRPF, were present.

                The programme commenced with the National Song, followed by the National Anthem. In her address, Chief Guest Smt. Madhu Bala, Commandant, highlighted the significance of Independence Day, the dignity and honour of the National Flag, and the duties of every citizen towards the nation. She appealed to everyone to hoist the Tricolour at their respective homes and spread the message of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign among the masses.

                Thereafter, Tricolour-coloured balloons were released, following which the Chief Guest flagged off the Tiranga Yatra organized through Shikaras and boats at Dal Lake. During the Yatra, CRPF officers and personnel, carrying the National Flag on Shikaras and boats, proceeded along the designated route of Dal Lake with great enthusiasm, zeal and patriotic spirit. The atmosphere of Dal Lake was filled with a strong sense of patriotism and national pride.

                  During the Tiranga Yatra, a strong spirit of patriotism, national unity, integrity and pride in the nation was clearly visible among the officers and personnel of the CRPF. Through the Yatra, the message of respect for the National Flag and patriotism under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign was effectively conveyed to the general public.

                   The Tiranga Yatra concluded at Ghat No. 13. Thereafter, all participants assembled at the Headquarters of 144th BN CRPF, where the National Song and National Anthem were once again presented.

                   At the conclusion of the programme, Chief Guest Smt. Madhu Bala, Commandant, 144th BN CRPF, extended her warm greetings to all participants on the occasion of Independence Day and conveyed the message of remaining ever dedicated and committed towards safeguarding the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the nation.

                  Officers and personnel of the 144th BN CRPF, along with other participants associated with the programme, participated enthusiastically in the event. The grand TirangaYatra organized through Shikaras and boats at Dal Lake effectively conveyed the message of patriotism, national pride, unity and “Har Ghar Tiranga” on the eve of Independence Day.
