Unidentified Body Found Floating in Dool Dam in Doda

Doda: An unidentified body was found floating in the Dool Dam near a power house in Doda district on Tuesday, officials said.

They said the body was spotted in the dam waters, following which police were informed. A team rushed to the spot and initiated retrieval and identification procedures.

Officials said efforts are underway to ascertain the identity of the deceased and the circumstances under which the body ended up in the dam. The body is being shifted for medico legal formalities.

Police have registered a case and further investigation is in progress. [KNT]
