Kupwara: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Shrikant Suse took a comprehensive tour of the National Highway-701 (RKCTC Project) to take stock of the progress in the execution.
DC started the tour from Kupwara and inspected different sites of the National Highway up to Langate, to check the progress and quality of the construction work.
During the tour, DC was apprised about different hindrances which need to be removed in coordination with the stakeholder departments.
Shrikant Suse stressed upon the officers to ensure close coordination with the executing agency for shifting of the utilities as well as removal of structures etc to avoid unnecessary delay in the completion of the National Highway 701 project which is crucial for the overall development of this frontier district Kupwara.
DC was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kupwara, OC BEACON, CEO, Tehsildars and other concerned officers.(GNS)
