SRINAGAR: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Spokesperson Rafi Ahmad Mir said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn’t address Kashmir issue in his day long visit to Kashmir on Sunday.
While speaking to news agency Press Trust of Kashmir Rafi Mir said, “Prime Minister Modi warned militants but he did not punctuate any means to curb the militancy. Sometimes the graph of militancy touched the sky and varied on time”.
He said, “Until we will not make any effort for peace track. This dispute will not be resolved. The question is how you can deal with the situation. At least one lakh people especially youth lost their life in the prolonged armed struggle from 90’s in Kashmir”.
Rafi Mir said “party was always in favour of talks with militants if the party will come to power. We will make ways and will try to talk with militants and local youth so that we can find a solution of the issue”.
Mir further added that PDP party always pitched for peaceful dialogue and was always in domain to bring peace and to get rid from the continue bloodshed. (PTK)
