Srinagar, Aug 27 : Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Thursday issued weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir.An official of MeT told GNS that generally hot and humid weather with brief spell of rain/thundershower is expected at scattered places towards early morning and afternoon hours till August 30.It said from August 31 to September 1, generally hot and humid weather is expected with one or two spells of light to moderate rain/thundershowers at many places with brief intense showers towards early morning and afternoon hours.From September 2 to 7, generally dry weather with brief spell of rain/thundershower is expected at scattered places towards early morning and afternoon hours.In its advisory, MeT said brief intense showers at localised areas may generate flash flood, mudslides and landslides during August 31 and September 1. It said farmers may continue harvesting and other farm operations.(GNS)
