SUMBAL: In a act of official negligence, the office of the Tehsildar in Sumbal area of Bandipora district was locked around 3pm today as all the employees of the Tehsil office were attending the marriage ceremony of the Tehsildar.
Locals said that once they visits the office of the Tehsildar, they found that the office is locked. They said that all the employees have left early from the office to attend the Marriage function of the Tehsildar.
They added that none of the employee was present in the office. Locals wonder that if the employees had to attend the marriage function of the officer, why they have not made available some of the employees for the convenience of the people.
When contacted, ADC Bandipora Khursheed Ahmed, he said, “We will take strict action against employees and will seek explanation tomorrow”.
