Srinagar: A teenager from Narbal was critically injured in a road traffic accident at Umarabad on Tuesday evening and was brought to JVC Hospital Bemina for treatment. Hospital officials said the injured boy has been identified as Faizan Ahmad son of Fayaz Ahmad Tabardah, aged 15 years, and a native of Narbal. He was shifted to the hospital with multiple injuries and his condition is stated to be critical. According to the statement of the attendant, the boy was riding a motorcycle when he was hit by an unknown vehicle near Punjabi Dhaba at Umarabad. The impact left him with serious injuries, prompting immediate evacuation to JVC Hospital for specialised care. Police are verifying the circumstances of the accident and efforts are underway to trace the vehicle involved, officials said. [KNT]
