Bandipora- A Sumbal girl has successfully qualified the NORCET-8 examination and secured selection as a Nursing Officer at AIIMS Guwahati.
The Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-8 is a prestigious national-level exam conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for the recruitment of nursing officers across AIIMS branches and other central government hospitals in India.
Sabira Arooj, daughter of Syed Firdous Hyder from Inderkote Sumbal, appeared in the competitive exam which was held in two stages: the Preliminary Stage on April 12, 2025, followed by the Computer-Based Test on May 2, 2025.
Sabira’s achievement stands out among thousands of aspirants from across the country and reflects her unwavering dedication, academic excellence, and perseverance.
