Baramulla: Hours after a report by GNS, district administration Baramulla on Friday said that a selection list of Class IV candidates will be published by August 2.
In a statement issued here, the administration said that in 2006 many candidates applied for the post. It said all the required procedures have been completed and the selection list will be made by August 2.
“Due to frequent movement of VIPs in the district, the concerned authorities remained busy in transacting official activities and as such list could not be issued”, it said. However, he reiterated that all the necessary formalities have been completed and the selection list will be definitely published by August 2.
GNS had reported earlier in the day that District administration Baramulla passed wrong information to the grievance cell of the government regarding the publishing of a final list of candidates for class IV.
In June this year, some candidates, who applied for Class 4th post in 2006 (under advertisement number 04/DDC of 2006, dated 18-10-2006), had submitted the complaint in government’s grievance cell that 12 years have passed but the district administration Baramulla has failed to publish the selection list of candidates after several rounds interviews.
The grievance cell sought the report from Director Planning Baramulla on 1st July 2018, who informed the grievance cell that list will be published by or before July 15 . However, more than a week has passed but the list has not been issued. (GNS)
