PM Modi mourns loss of lives in Mata Vaishno Devi landslide

Srinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday expressed grief over the loss of lives along the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple route.

In a post on X, the PM, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that the loss of lives due to a landslide on the route to the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Temple is saddening. “My thoughts are with the bereaved families,” he said.

“May the injured recover at the earliest. The administration is assisting all those affected. My prayers for everyone’s safety and well-being,” he said.

Notably, the heavy rainfall across J&K has disrupted the normal life.—(KNO)
