Minor girl dies as tin shed crumbles in Sumbal village

Bandipora : A minor girl on Thursday died after a tin shed fell at Markundal area of Sumbal in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. Official sources told KNO that a minor girl identified as Hadia, daughter of Shahzad Ahmad of Palhalan, age 8/ 9 yrs had come to visit Bashir Ahmad Parra, son of Sonaulla’s resident as guest.

During the construction of a tin shed, a piece of timber fell on her head that led to injuries in her head. She was rushed to a nearby Sub district Hospital Sumbal for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries.

”After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites,” officials said.(KNO)
