Srinagar 30 April : As the Meteorological department on Friday said that there would be no major rainfall or snow for next one week, a brief spell of hailstorm with lightning and thunderstorm at different places of J&K during next 2-3 hours on Friday evening was expected by them.
MeT officials on Friday late afternoon said that there is no forecast of any major rain or snowfall for next one week.
“There’s no forecast of any major rain ‘snow forecast for next 1 week,” said officials in the latest update.
While regarding a brief spell of thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and hailstorm at scattered places of Poonch, Rajouri, Ramban-Banihal, Gulmarg and in some places of Budgam, South Kashmir; they said in its update on Friday 4:00 pm that it will start in next two to three hours from now.
