Man Who Fell Into Well In Kupwara, His Body Retrieved

Srinagar: The body of a 42-year-old man who fell into a well has been retrieved in the Lasiporam Sogam area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday.

Officials told GNS that rescuers tried their best to bring him out alive, but unfortunately, he had already died in the well.

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Rashid Sofi son of Ghulam Mohammad Sofi resident of Daram Wari Sogam.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.

Earlier, the rescue operation was launched by police, army and SDRF.(GNS)
