LG Gupta salutes soldiers for bravery, celebrates Diwali with them

Ladakh: Saluting the Army jawans for their bravery, Lt Governor of Ladakh Kavinder Gupta on Monday celebrated Diwali with soldiers of Fire & Fury Corps at Rinchen Auditorium, Leh.

While addressing the jawans, LG Gupta, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, “Our soldiers guard the borders under extreme conditions and are always ready to foil nefarious designs of the enemy.”

He said, “Entire nation is proud of its soldiers and always stands with them. We are able to live our lives peacefully due to our jawans guarding the borders and maintaining a tight vigil.”

LG Gupta also paid homage to Kargil & Siachen heroes, and reiterated GoI & UT’s commitment towards their welfare—(KNO)
