Srinagar, Sep 9, : Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience largely dry weather over the coming days, with brief spells of rain at isolated and scattered places, according to the latest forecast issued by the Meteorological Centre Srinagar.The forecast indicates generally dry weather from September 10 to 12, with brief spells of rain possible at isolated places.From September 13 to 16, brief spells of rain or thundershowers are likely at scattered places, particularly during the early morning and afternoon hours.The weather is expected to remain generally dry again from September 17 to 20, although brief spells of rain may occur at isolated places during the period.The Meteorological Centre has advised farmers to continue harvesting and other agricultural operations during the next five days, with specific advice to proceed with apple and paddy harvesting.The five-day rainfall forecast indicates light to moderate rainfall activity across parts of Jammu and Kashmir during the forecast period, with the weather remaining predominantly dry across the region. [KNT]
