Gunfight Breaks Out In Kishtwar Woods

Jammu: An encounter is underway between security forces and terrorists in forest area of Singhpora Chatroo in Kishtwar on Thursday morning.

Officials told GNS that contact was established with terrorists after joint team of police and army launched a cordon and search operation in forest area between Shari and Mandral Dhok area on a specific input.

As per the reports, two to three terrorists are holed up in the woods, they said.

As this story was being filed, the exchange of fire was underway.
