Pulwama : A grenade explosion took place in Chawalgam area of Kulgam district while as a Government Boys school was set ablaze in Nihama area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, official sources said.
According to the wire service –Kashmir News Observer (KNO), they said that in the grenade explosion that took place late on Wednesday evening, a CRPF man sustained minor injuries. He was shifted to hospital and discharged later.
In another incident, Government Boys Middle School at Nihama area of South Kashmir’s Nihama village in Pulwama district.
Witnesses told KNO, that the school building suffered major loss and the cause of fire was being ascertained. A police official said that the cause of blaze was being investigated. Sources said that Nihama is the same village where a non-state labourer from Chattisgarh K Sethi was killed by the unidentified gunmen. (KNO)
