Well-known drama artists and poets of the valley were honored with Ghadir awards.
Bandipora: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Ghadeer, n grand Ghadeer Conference was organized by Indar Cultural Forum Sonawari Kashmir at Dak Bangla Sumbal town of Bandipora District.
Renowned playwrights, drama artists, poets and writers besides many other important personalities from Kashmir Valley participated in the conference.
During the occasion the personalities who were honored with the Al Ghadeer Award include Bashir Dada, Nazir Josh, Nisar Naseem, Ab. Rasheed Gamgeen, Shahid Budgami, Jahangir Dar and others.
Salim Yusuf Chilkey on the occasion welcomed the guests and participants. Moreover speakers shed light on the event of Gadhir and its importance.
Later two books “Santnath” of Ab. Rasheed Gamgeen and Diwan-e- Shaida of Shaida Manasbali were also released.
