Five Injured as Wedding Party’s Bolero Skids Near Stone Crusher in Kalai, Poonch

Jammu: Five people were injured on Saturday evening when a Bolero carrying a wedding party skidded off the road near the stone crusher at Kalai while travelling from Poonch towards Surankote.

Officials told GNS that the accident occurred around 5:45 pm. The injured have been identified as Rahan Ahmed, 2, son of Mohd Laqyiat, resident of Dharglon, Mendhar, Ajaz Iqbal, 31, son of Mohd Iqbal, resident of Kosallian, Shabnam Kouser, 16, daughter of Mohd Taj, resident of Khanater, Maniza Bi, 40, wife of Mohd Laqyiat, resident of Dharglon, Mendhar and a minor, resident of Dharglon, Mendhar. All were shifted to SDH Poonch for treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway.(GNS)
