Five dead, eight injured in Ramban mishap

Srinagar : At least five persons died while eight others sustained injuries on Saturday after the vehicle they were traveling in plunged into a deep gorge in Ramban district of Jammu region.
Reports reaching KNS said that a child and two women among five oersons died in a road mishap today.
“A passenger cab skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge on Chanderkoot-Rajgarh link road this morning,” reports said.
It added that eight others were also injured in the road accident, who were rushed to district hospital Ramban where the condition of some of them is stated to be critical. (KNS)
