Bandipora 17 May -2021: Bandipora police continuing its efforts with an aim to create effective deterrence against COVID-19 Virus and penalise the violators of Corona lockdown,today challaned 309 persons & Fined Rupees 34550 , besides seized 22 vehicles & arrested 07 persons for defying the lockdown orders / COVID-19 SOPs across the district. Moreover 01 FIR was also registered against the violators.
The special drive against the violators of Covid-19 guidelines/SOPs will continuously be carried out throughout the district to ensure that people adhere to guidelines envisaged by government and health department to stop the pandemic from spreading further.
