SRINAGAR: Scores of residents of Bemina area stages massive protest against the alleged highhandedness of Army whom they allege damaging vehicles and window panes of residential houses in Srinagar

Reports said that the residents were joined in by the attendants of Bemina JVC hospital to protest against the highhandedness of forces. They said that the army personnel’s resort to stone pelting and damaging vehicles, breaking windows when attendants of JVC hospital and trespassers interfere after a truck driver was beaten by beaten by them.
They said that the truck driver had allegedly jumped the signal at Bemina Bypass. “When the driver was being beaten by the army personnel’s, people interfered to save him from the clutches of forces. This made them furious and they resort to damaging whatever came in their way”, said residents.
