Ask militants to shun gun culture: Muzaffar Baig to Geelani

SRINAGAR : PDP leader and Member Parliament Muzaffar Hussain Baig today appealed to Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani to ask militants to shun the gun culture as it was against the principles of Islam.

According to PTK reporter that Muzaffar Baig said “I appeal to Geelani to ask the militant to shun the violent means because violence is against the fundamental principles of Islam”.

Commenting on NIA arrests, he said the people who are really involved should face the action.

“Those separatist leaders who are innocent and have no hand in burning schools and getting innocents killed should not be persecuted,” he said.

Muzaffar Baig was adressing party workers at 18th Foundation Day celebration of PDP Sher-e-Kashmir cricket stadium.
