Amod Ashok Nagpure Gets Additional Charge as DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range

Jammu: Senior IPS officer Amod Ashok Nagpure, presently serving as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Udhampur, has been assigned the additional charge of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Udhampur-Reasi Range.

Officials said the arrangement has been made following the sanctioned two-month leave of the incumbent DIG, Sarah Rizvi. During her absence, Nagpure will look after the responsibilities of the DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range in addition to his own duties as SSP Udhampur.

Amod Ashok Nagpure is a 2011-batch IPS officer of the Jammu and Kashmir cadre and has earlier served in various important assignments across the Union Territory. [KNT]
