Fire Erupts In Gawran Market In Anantnag, Fire Tenders on Job

Srinagar: Atleast 8 shops were damaged In massive fire which erupted on Tuesday evening in the market of Gawran In Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.Officials told that fire erupted from one of the shop in Gawran Market which has one shopping line with double storeys and soon engulfed 7 other shops.Soon a team of fire service and police along with locals rushed to the spot to control the fire.So far 8 shops were damaged in the fire incident while as efforts were on to douse off the fire. Cause of the fire was not immediately known when this report was being prepared. More details awaited.(GNS)
