Ganderbal: As Muslims across the world prepare to observe the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Meraj Muncipal Council Chairman Advocate Altaf Lone has extended his warm greetings to the people of Ganderbal.
Shab-e-Meraj, also known as Isra and Mi’raj, marks the miraculous night journey of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from Mecca to Jerusalem and his ascension to the heavens. It is observed on the 27th day of the Islamic month of Rajab.
In his message, Advocate Altaf said, “I extend my heartfelt greetings to the people of Ganderbal on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Meraj. This night holds immense spiritual significance for all Muslims, as it commemorates the miraculous journey of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
