SRINAGAR: A video journalist was severally injured during stone pelting that erupts after Friday at near Gojwara area in Srinagar.
Feroz Wani, working with ETV was hit by stone while discharging his professional duty on Friday. The stone thrown by the protesters hit his nose resulted in severe injury. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where doctors administered six stitches on his nose. His eye is only injured.
Pertinently there was intense post Friday clashes in old City yesterday. This is the second incident in a week when a media person was injured during the clashes. Earlier Aijaz Dar working for Zee in Shopian district was severally injured in stone pelting. Worth to mention, journalists are caught under fire in trouble torn valley since long now.
