Landslide cuts off Kishtwar from Jammu

Jammu: A landslide has cut off the mountainous district of Kishtwar from Jammu for the second time in past week.

An official said that traffic was suspended between Kishtwar and Thathri after a landslide hit the Kishtwar-Jammu highway at Kulgadi near Drabshalla last evening.

Couple of days ago, three people had died after a landslide him them at the same spot.

Officials said that landslides hit the road last evening, leading to its closure.

They said that the movement of traffic shall remain suspended until the restoration work is completed.
