Srinagar : Scores of party members and senior leaders of National Conference on Saturday took out a protest march here against harassment of the people of Kashmir outside the state.
During the protest NC demanded that attacks on Kashmiris should be immediately stopped.
The protest March was led by senior party leader Ali Mohammad Sagar.
Scores of members from NC assembled at the party headquarters at Srinagar and took out a protest march amid slogans against the attacks and harassment of Kashmiris outside the valley.
The protestors were stopped at TRC by the heavy deployment of police.
Ali Mohammed Sagar while talking to Valley Media Service that if such peopele don’t think Kashmiri as Indian citizens.
“Why are students being harassed and targeted? Is it a political conspiracy?” He said
Sagar said that this is being done in view of upcoming elections.(VMS)
