Army on Thursday claimed to have recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Shumnag area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The IED planted on a roadside was detected by the patrolling party of army’s 5 Bihar in Shumnag around 8 am, reported news agency GNS.
Quoting an unnamed police officer, the report said a bomb disposal squad was called which disposed off the explosive device without causing any damage.
