Srinagar, Oct 13 : National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanveer Sadiq on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, stating that he has lost his ground.
Speaking to media persons in Srinagar, Sadiq, as per GNS said, “Our LOP Sahib has completely forgotten… He goes to different areas about which he has no knowledge. I thought LOP Sahib was an understanding, thoughtful person. He has failed there too in the Assembly. Now they have nothing left. As they say, defeat has reached their doorstep.”
Referring to the ongoing protests, he said children are protesting at Jantar Mantar, Delhi and everywhere.
“If they have even a little knowledge or belief about the people here, then I think BJP should vacate its chair as soon as possible and fresh elections should be held in which people vote on ballot paper and not on their EVMs,” Sadiq said.
He further claimed that there is uneasiness within BJP ever since the Assembly session, and as per his information, it has been finalized in BJP circles that the LOP will be removed and someone else will be made LOP.
“He should first save his own chair and then look towards National Conference,” Sadiq added.(GNS)
