IGP Kashmir Sujit Kumar Calls On Chief Minister Omar Abdullah After Assuming Charge

Srinagar, Sep 1 : Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, Sujit Kumar, IPS, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, following his recent assumption of charge as head of Kashmir Zone.During the interaction, the Chief Minister enquired about the prevailing security scenario and law and order situation across the Valley. He extended his best wishes to the IGP for a successful and effective tenure.Sujit Kumar, a senior IPS officer, recently took over as IGP Kashmir, replacing V K Birdi.(GNS)
