Woman’s body recovered from Jhelum near Nawa Kadal

Srinagar, Aug 28 : An unidentified woman was found dead in the River Jhelum near Nawa Kadal area of Srinagar on Friday, officials said.An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the woman was found in the river near Nawa Kadal and was retrieved by locals.He said she was soon shifted to a hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.The official said the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately, while further proceedings have been taken up.—(KNO)
