Narco Smuggler Held, Heroin Worth ₹50 Lakh Seized in Jammu: BSF

Jammu: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday said that a joint operation led to the arrest of a narco smuggler and the recovery of heroin worth ₹50 lakh in Jammu.

BSF Jammu, as per the news agency Kashmir News Trust said, “On 22 August 2025, based on specific intelligence provided by BSF Jammu, a joint search operation was launched by BSF Jammu and NCB Jammu, during which one narco smuggler was apprehended and heroin worth ₹50 lakh was recovered from Miran Sahib, Jammu.”

Further investigation into the case has been taken up by the concerned authorities. [KNT]
