Jammu: Twenty members of a marriage party were injured, three of them critically, when a protection wall of house fell down in Rajouri district on Sunday, officials said.
They told that at around 1910 hours, suddenly protection wall of the residential house of Mohammad Adress son of Haji Gull Mohd Jatt at Kappa Kha.
The incident happened during the wedding ceremony of his son, resulting in injuries to 20 people who were shifted to GMC Rajouri. Soon locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to hospital for treatment.
Three among the injured are said to be critical and have been shifted to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Saima Akhtar W/O Mohd Khalil, Sartal Begum W/O Mohd Din, Ayan S/O Zulfiqar Ali, Sarish D/O Zulfiqar Ali, Zera Hayat D/O Mohd Alyas,Tazeem Akhtar w/o Munir Hussain, Shaheen Akhtar w/O Mohd Arif, Jameela Akhter W/O Mohd Maqsood, Mohd Zubair S/O Mehmood Ahmed, Mumtaz Begum W/O Mohd Rashid, Maryam Akhter W/O Mohd Khaliq, Muneeza Akhter W/O Mohd Naseer, Mumtaz Begum W/ O Mohd Kallu, Anaya Kouser D/O Zaffer Iqbal (referred to GMC Jammu), Mairya Kouser W/O Imtiaz Ahmed, Qadir Hussain S/O Mohd Hussain, Airam D/o Mohd Imran (referred to GMC Jammu),Yasmeen Akhtar W/O Mohd Shafiq, Rehan Khan S/O Qadi Hussain and Mumtaz Begum.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident, a police officer told GNS.(GNS)
