Ladakh: Three soldiers of the Mahar Regiment were killed after an avalanche hit their base camp at the Siachen glacier in Ladakh on Tuesday, officials said.
An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the soldiers were trapped under snow for nearly 5 hours before rescue teams reached the spot.
An Army captain, who was also caught in the avalanche, was rescued, he added—(KNO)
